The thought process of humans can be as complex as the Indian tax system and it can also be as easy as abc. "Most intelligent people on this planet are generally the most miserable people on the planet. Simply because they have an active intelligence but no perception of life."-  a famous saying.

In a room full of people we can feel disconnected and lost. While having a conversation we can suddenly feel disconnected and get lost in our own thoughts. Sometimes this dissociation can impact our ability to think normally or remain in present. During this phase of stress, we can feel overwhelmed with anxiety and completely numb as if the situation is not real.

Mind gives you wings

This situation mostly occurs when we have faced pain that we are not able to fight back.

If you want to control your emotions you must take control of your habits first.

1. Relying on others during traumatic situations

Nothing could be more natural than to go to other people for comfort when you're upset or in distress. It is good to have other people as a source of comfort but it is risky at the same time to rely on them. Difficult emotions will be themselves painful but more than that, you will also have the fear of being inadequate to handle them at yourself.

Learn to self soothe yourself and manage your emotions. Managing difficult emotions on your own could make you more confident.

2. Believing your positive intuitions

Human mind produces lot of junk, many people start to feel out of control because of those thoughts. Because of this they end up thinking every little thought endlessly popularly known as overthinking. You must know that all that your mind produces is not true, it can just be a random noise. It's a funny thing that we easily trust our negative emotions and take time to trust our positive emotions.

3. We should not judge ourselves

We're weak if we feel sad and demotivated, we're broken if we think too much. We cannot judge our strength on basis of emotions we feel at particular point of time. When you criticize yourself for feeling anxious, you will end up being more anxious. When you criticize yourself for being angry you will start feeling more anxious. The problem is these negative emotions compound their intensity if you judge them.

If you want to take charge of your emotions start exploring your problems and try to solve them on your own.
