How can CA students benefit out of social media?

Quick Summary
Social media can be a valuable asset for CA students, provided studies remain the priority and time is invested wisely. Instead of passive scrolling, students can benefit by creating content related to their niche, like explaining accounting topics. Platforms like LinkedIn are crucial for building a professional network, finding internships, and showcasing skills. Additionally, engaging with motivational podcasts, spiritual content, and informative social media handles can enhance general knowledge and mental well-being.

Yes, you read it right,

Social media can really benefit you,

The only two conditions are

  1.   Prioritising your studies above all.
  2.   Investing your time in the right direction.

When you hear the word "social media" what comes to your mind?

If you are thinking about those Instagram reels or your Snapchat streaks or YouTube shorts....then definitely you are channelizing your energy and time in a wrong direction.

Not only that time and energy waste, but it will give force you to get into that guilt zone, as a result even your studies will be affected.

See, I am not stopping to watch it, but ultimately it will benefit you only if you will create content related to your niche.

For example. You are making reels explaining any topic of accounts. So, yes that will definitely help you study in a creative manner.

But, you may think that I can't talk about studies all the time, using your phone is a relaxing stage of your day. Yes definitely, You are right.

CA Students and Social Media: Boost Your Career

So, how can you benefit from social media apart from studies?

1. LinkedIn

What you see, is what you aspire to be. The significance of LinkedIn for both professionals and students is magical. It will help you:

  1. Develop a professional network.
  2. Start your passion.
  3. Get a good  job or articleship
  4. Increase your skills.
  5. It is a strong virtual resume.

You might be thinking but why do I have to start now? I am just a student. But it will benefit you as a student as well. Atleast you will start adding skills, taking valuable certification courses, writing valuable content to show on your profile.

2. Podcasts, spirituality and motivation

Sometimes we get so worried about those 8 papers and modules that we forget that our brain needs peace. These podcasts, audiobooks, spiritual videos can really motivate you when you struggle. And obviously, inner peace is the best motivation. No academic teacher can benefit you more than this.

Guys, mental health and spiritual health can't be ignored at the cost of running in a race of career. Please channelize your time for good value-adding content over the internet.

3. Follow some good social handles

By this point, I want to emphasize on the fact that, you can use certain good social media handles to increase your general knowledge.

So, yes in these ways you can definitely direct your relaxing period into something super positive, accountable and creative. Just keep in mind the 80 20 rule.

But sometimes your mind may start focusing on these things more, then you can completely stop using them. Stop using 2 months or 3 months before your exams completely.

It totally depends on you. Even being active on any social media platform or completely isolating yourself is your choice. This is something that helped me.
