Hello Everyone my Seniors and dear Friends,
Today I'm Sharing a journey of a boy from Slum to Success.
I'm not disclosing his name but I can tell you he's the best friend of mine. However, we were not class mates as he was elder than me by 3 and half years but we used to play cricket daily.
We had a club called "BEST FRIENDS" where we used to spend our evening while playing chess, badminton etc.
He was a laundry boy(Dhobi)and he had to work for long hours.
As he was a student of night school and he always used to wake up at 6 O'clock for his daily work.
His background was very very weak in all departments like financial,in relatives,in customs, religion,no one to help.
He's father died when he was 16. He had to work for his family simultaneously he was studying to.
He completed his 12th and his graduation as he was a scholarship holder, after completing his graduation he joined CA as that time CA was an affordable course in his reach.
After completing his CA PCC he was not able to take admission in finals due to his limited income, but he was eager for further studies.
One day when we were playing cricket, He was batting and he got out 1st ball.It was a rare case because he was a brilliant batsman. And Soon after he left the ground without saying a word to us.
Then few days went by he didn't came to play for a long period of time may be 2 or 3 weeks.
We went to his home to find the fact of his absence from our team, we found that he's working all day and night to generate the amount for the admission.
But he didn't say the reason why he's not playing with us and the reason behind the hard work.
But somehow we all friends track down on him to find out the reason, we noticed that he used to work late nights as his articled training was going on, we went to his office and asked one of his co-article and realize that fact.
We all went to him and asked how much money is required for the admission...but he refused for the help.
We thought ok if he's not willing to take our help so what we can do.
Somehow he took admission and joined CA finals without any tutor without any reference book he started his further studies.
It was 2011 May term when his finals were due but again due to some financial and work crisis he forgone that attempt.
Now he was concentrating on November term and got himself prepared for examination,
One day before of his CA final's 1st exam her mother died.
We were totally shocked and at that time he was lying on the floor and crying.
We were speechless what to say...but somehow after his mother's funeral we asked him will you able to give exam?
He said to us that her mother always dream about him, that he will be a CA.
Now if he forgo this term then her mother dream would be postponed.
He gave all his examination on well note.
18th Jan 2012, the day.....he cleared both groups and made his mother dream come true.
Success doesn't need anything...only willingness and dedication.
He’s the man of inspiration, a great human.
I am proud that I am his friend.
Regards,
