1.

Whether any extension will be granted for commencement of Practical Training in order to enable the students to appear in November 2022 examinations.

Students who have passed one group or both groups of Intermediate in November 2019 and have commenced their Practical Training on or before 31st July, 2020 can appear in November 2022 Final examination.

No further extension for commencement of Practical Training beyond 31st July, 2020 is granted.

2.

Whether validity of registration in Foundation/Intermediate /Final courses be extended due to merging of May/Nov 2020 exams.

Yes, validity of registration in Foundation / Intermediate / Final Courses will be extended. An announcement in this respect will be hosted shortly.

3.

Whether IPCC/Final Old Course students are allowed to convert to the Intermediate/Final New.

IPCC/ Final Old Course Students can at any time convert to Intermediate/Final New course of Revised Scheme of Education and Training. Students need not wait for the last attempt in their respective course to get over.

4a.

Whether there will be relaxation in the eligibility criteria for provisionally registered students (who are in the Final year of the Graduation) through Direct Entry for submitting the mark sheet be granted.

The students are required to submit their graduation mark sheets within six months from the date of appearance in Final year of graduation examination. In other words, there is no need for relaxation. The provisional registration is valid up to six months from the date of appearance in the final level graduation exams.

4b.

(i) Whether students in final year of their graduation and provisionally registered in Intermediate through Direct Entry route can commence their practical training before confirmation of their registration in Intermediate.

(ii) Whether there will be any relaxation in the eligibility criteria for appearing in May 2021 Intermediate examinations for such students.

(i) Students may note that they can commence their Practical Training after regularization of their registration in Intermediate only.

(ii) The matter with regard to the relaxation in eligibility criteria for appearing in May 2021 examinations for such students is under consideration and an announcement will be made in the last week of August, 2020.

Since May 2020 exams are postponed and merged with November attempt; whether students who were to appear in May 2020 attempt will have to follow the amendments updated till October 2019 or up to 30th April, 2020.

For November, 2020 examinations, (including for students registered for May 2020 exams), the amendments updated till 30th April, 2020 will be applicable.

Whether the Study Material applicable for the November 2020 exams will be the same as was applicable for May/July 2020 exams.

What kind of help is provided to students for preparation of November, 2020 exams at all levels?

The Institute understands that due to outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a significant effect on the study plan of our students. OC/ITT COURSE

8.

What are the exemptions given to Foundation Route students and Direct Entry students w.r.t completion of OC/ITT course?

Foundation route students have been allowed to commence their Practical Training on or before 31st July, 2020 and complete Orientation Course and IT Training on or before 31st October, 2020.

Direct Entry Students have been allowed to commence their Practical Training on or before 31st July, 2020 and complete Orientation Course and IT Training on or before 31st December, 2020

9.

Who can do OC/ITT classes in Online mode from 1st August, 2020?

All eligible Foundation and Direct Entry route students can do the course by registering at https://www.icaionlineregistration.org.

MCS/Adv. ITT Course

10.

Which categories of students are eligible for virtual MCS and Advanced ITT course as a one-time measure due to the prevailing pandemic situation?

Students who have passed final exams in May 2019 /November, 2019 OR appearing in July 2020 (now postponed to November)/ NOVEMBER 2020 exams have been given one time relaxation from attending physical MCS &Adv IT classes and are allowed to complete the same through the virtual mode.

11.

If Students complete AICITSS virtually, do they have to give the Advanced IT test.

Passing Advanced IT test is a mandatory requirement. Examination Department has announced the Adv. IT exam dates and other modalities at www.icai.org and https://advit.icaiexam.icai.org/
