The day of the result either makes or breaks you. Wishing all the new Qualified Chartered Accountants a hearty Congratulations. You made it!

For the rest, DO NOT GIVE UP! The course has taught patience, determination, perseverance, dedication and not forgetting a very balanced thought process.

Here are stories of Successful Chartered Accountants who made it even after multiple attempts, age and other challenges.

Chartered Accountants who never gave upon becoming CA

Multiple Attempts Don't Define You. Only Being a CA does

CA.Shailee Chaudhary

Shailee Chaudhary, an average student in school, cleared Inter CA group 1. She gave her Inter CA group 2 but did not succeed the first time nor the second, she took 5 attempts to clear group 2. Shailee gave her Final and did not succeed the first time, she did not stop dreaming. She gave her attempt the Second time becoming All India Rank Holder 1.

Shailee did not give up CA just because she failed multiple times in CA course, instead she became the rank holder.

Today Ms.Chaudhary is working for India's Top MNC in a very high position.

CA Kailash Narayan Purohith

Kailash Purohith faced multiple failures in CA course for over 20 years. He never gave up on any attempt. Kailash was determined, focused on just becoming a Chartered Accountant. In 2010, after 32 attempts Kailash Narayan Purohith became CA Kailash Narayan Purohith.

In one of his interviews he says it was not easy for him for 20 years, but all he wanted was to be a Chartered Accountant. His patience, determination is commendable.

Age is just a Number

These Chartered Accountants did not consider age as a barrier.

CA Padmavathi Hariharan

Mrs Padmavathi was married off at a very tender age of 17. She always had the urge to be a graduate never had she thought of being a professional that too a Chartered Accountant. After having a family Mrs. Hariharan took up graduation from Kamaraj university Madurai. She passed out as a graduate at the age of 45 years. She took up CA course with a lot of encouragement from her Guru CA C V S Manian and was a qualified CA at the age of 50 years. She is in active practice as of today at the age of 86. She has been an inspiration and has motivated many.

CA Saroja Ramachandran and CA Shyamala Karbhari

Mrs. Saroja Ramachandran became CA Saroja Ramachandran at the age of 59 in 2018.

Mrs Shyamala Karbhari at age of 45 in 2010 cleared CA exam to become CA Shyamala Karbhari.

Both Saroja and Shyamala being wife and mothers had their roles and responsibilities to play. They stood by all the barriers including their age to pursue their dreams.

Physical Disabilities

CA Ranjani Gopal

Ranjani Gopal, cleared CA exam during 2002 to become India's first visually challenged Chartered Accountant. She was prescribed penicillin tablets for common cold by a doctor when she was nine years old. This was given without test dosage and resulted in an allergic reaction which in medical terminology is known as "Steven Johnson Syndrome". Her vision started deteriorating gradually and she lost her vision in right eye by the time she completed the B.Com degree course. She has proved that it is possible to pass the CA examination if one prepares in a focussed manner in spite of any physical handicap.

CA Neha Bhansal

Neha Bansali was confined to the wheelchair when she hurt her spine. Neha developed a spine infection after being injured at a young age, this paralysed her entire body except her right hand. Neha took up CA course after her 12th. Neha stood All India Rank 10 in CA Final.

Passing CA is a dream for many, to make the dream into reality struggles are a part of the journey. Quoting Mahatma Gandhi "Strengths does not come from winning, struggles develop into strengths, when you go through hardships decide not to surrender. That is Strength."
