What is AIS or TIS PDF Password?

If you come across a PDF file that is password protected, unlocking it may require entering a specific password. The password format varies depending on the type of taxpayer. For a non-individual taxpayer, use the password format: PAN (lowercase) + Date of incorporation/formation (DDMMYYYY). For individual taxpayers, the password consists of the Permanent Account Number (PAN) in lowercase letters and the date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY, without any spaces. For instance, if the PAN is AAAAA1234A and the date of birth is 28th Jun 1992, the password would be "aaaaa1234a28061992." This password format ensures that only authorized individuals with the correct PAN and relevant date of birth can access the AIS or TIS.
