Whether GST structure is suitable for india?

Yes. This is the only structure which can sustain the growth of nation. Otherwise taxation structure in India is designed to kill business and commerce. We impose Central Excise duty without knowing what is manufacture- as much as packing has become manufacture. We impose sales tax, without knowing what is sale- as much as renting has become sale. The whole structure of Direct Taxes (Income tax) has become an Indirect tax through Tax deduction at source. You do one transaction, and 10 different tax laws says different different things about it. If we donot straemline our tax sturcture, we are doomed.

we have further issues involved in it.

gst would levy tax only one tax on goods or services. It would be inclusing all ST, ED and VAT. But the collection of the revenue from these taxes is generated in the central govt or state govt dept.

i toh seriously feel that the GST would reduce the current litigations.
