good to hear about the replies given by my all friends.in this regard i would like to share that when first time i went for my foundation exam of ICWAI i saw people of around 40-50 range sitting and giving final exam.Remember always education and knowledge dont have any realtionship with age.If the government of India can ask 60 years old people to start on learning ABC then why not ca at the age of 29.But this is also true that this articleship is becoming a torture for all the ca article studensts.Voices must be raised to stop the pains of atricleship.But still go ahead with the name itself has so much prestige Chartered Accountant that enough for this world to live with head held high.

u can go for LLB or CS alongwith CA..gud u decided finally for CA...

Why not sir! Forget about your age! Don't even worry about how old you will be as a fresh CA looking for job,  etc! The future is all about lack of age discrimination. There will soon be serious laws against it. I think there already are, not sure.

the question whether one can do CA  at the age of 29 reminds me one dialogue of james bond movie....       " age is just a number......". if one has passion and determination ,even 80 years old can do amazing work which young people cannot do. .in my opinion, youngness of heart is actual determining factor of young person, and not blackness of hair.

I am planning to do CA . I am in the age of 36  right now  and working as Operations & Systems manager. My educational back ground is Masters in commerce with other IT software engineering program.

I like to CA for updating my career growth and to cope up with new reforms in the booming industry as finance plays a core part in it. Please suggest on the same .
