i sold one residential house and have LTCG of rs 10 lac in febuary 2012 , on 31 march 2012 i was not able to invest in either in capital gain bank account nor i purchased any house. in august i purchased rs 12 lac residential house which is with in limit of one year of sec 54 of capital gains. my question is if i file return of ay 2011-12., what would be the treatments of capital gain of rs 10 lac, should i deposit tax of rs 2 lac and i will not get rebate of sec 54 ?

I hereby would like to bring it to your kind information that we are in agreed terms for construction,erection,commissioning work with the Bangalore Water Supply board – BWSSB (Govt Sector) and the service tax is exempted as per the new service tax act 01.07.2012.And Sub-Contractor providing services by way of work contracor to another contractor providing work contract service also exempt. Please advise us whether Service Tax exemption certificate is required or just the notification is well enough to Speak for the aspects.

Also, I want to focus on the cultural aspect of their accounting system and how India has been affected by the British Empire and still follows the accounting standards of the British.
