  • Ashish goel says : Service Tax Registeration
My Client purchased a building from "Essel Towers Gurgaon" in 2009 which was allocated by them for runnig a school and only after forming a society, They formed society and started running play school in that and kept the registered office in punjabi bagh, New Delhi. Now they have given the play school with premises (and all facilities) on single consideration rent (to other school to manage the school) of Rs. 2 lakh per month from february 2014. Now My question is: 1) Apart from "renting of immovable property service"is there any other head of service tax under which they will be covered. 2) since the services is provided in gurgaon and regd office and billing will be done from punjabi bagh address, do we require centralised registeration, or we can register only punjabi bagh regd office for service tax or any thing else??? Plz Help 3) since total receipt of rent will not be more than 4 lakh this year so, do we require to take registeration immediately or after april. Plz Help in this regard.

  • HARSH KUMAR BHARDWAJ says : Regarding Leave during articleship
1.) I started my training on 1st Oct 2011. Till 29th Jan 2014 I took 82 day of leave out of which 24 are my compensatory off (I worked on Sunday for which I took leave for another day i.e. Monday, Tuesday etc). Please tell me what will be my pending leave at present. 2.) My CA Anil Khanna is against this that 24 day of compensatory leave will not be included in calculating of actual leave taken. I took an expert opinion from CAclubindia and two of the experts said the compensatory off will not be included in calculation of actual leave taken. But my CA Anil Khanna is insisted for this. So what will be the remedies for this? 3.) I told my CA that I need a minimum 3 months of Leave for CA Final Exams may 2014 but he is giving me just 2 months of Leave. It will be difficult for me to prepare myself for exams within 2 months. I want to clear this exam in first attempt. So what will be the remedies for this?

  • Subramanian says : Removable of goods without payment of excise duty
Sir, This is further to your advice on 26th July 2013 on purchase of raw materials without payment of Excise duty for further manufacturing and exporting . We approached the department today they said we need to execute a Bond and Bank guarantee along with Application form in Annexure 45 Is this procedure correct ? Furtherr we are an SSI unit registered from 2002 and are exporting earlier (but this is first time we are availing this benefit) So should we give bank guarantee ? Also if we have to give BG what value we should give ? The excise duty exemption we are asking is for Rs. 92,962/-Also what is the period of bond and BG? Further in future for ech purchase should we give separate bond and BG Kindly advice. Regards Subramanian Bangalore my Mob No 9880107112
