Whether Services received from outside India for export of services is liable to service tax? These services are provided by non resident and services are received in foreign country but payment is made from India.is it liable to servivce tax u/s 66-A? Intention of section 66A seems only to tax services received in India. As in our case services are provided from outside India and received outside India but payment is made from India are we liable to service tax? Thanx in advance

  • ajay pandey says : input credit of service tax
sir pls advise me in put credit of service tax paid by air travel agent. party can take input credit

  • nair sreekumar says : your answer to my querry
I am not satisfied with your answer of applicability of service under maint and repair services. This is because the services rendered are xeroxing services. The machine is mine and labour is mine. There is no repair or maint services in rendering xerox services at clients place. Only doubt is whether this can be tax under business support services or business auxilliary services as provision of service on behalf of client.
