vijay says : Tax on reimbursements for F.Y 2009-10
Our Company is based in hubli, We send employees to bangalore to our clients office where they work at their place , ours is service oriented chip designing company. We call the employees who work from our clients place in banaglore as ONSITE employees.We reimburse them monthly onsite reimbursements as follows: Food- 3000 per month Accomodation- 3000 per month travel(local in bangalore) Rs 1500 Per month This is paid irrespective they give bills . or actuals as per the bills but not exceding the above amount. My question is .Whether the above reimbursements are taxable in the hands of employees. At present the same are added to their salary and taxed whcih i feel is wrong as they are not in nature of perks. Kindly clarify in details as per the IT act.

DEAR SIR THIS MY LAST ATTEMPT FOR P-II EAXM.TILL DATE I HAVE NOT STUDIED ANYTHING WOULD YOU PLS GUIDE ME HOW TO COMPLTE THE STUDY AND CONCETRATE ATTENTION TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AS WELL SUCUESS IN EXAM. THE REASON FOR NOT STUDY I AM STARTED AFTER 10 YEARS GAP .DUE TO SOME FAMILY REASON FOR LAST 10 YEARS I HAD LEFT WITH STUDIES AND THIS ATTEMPT WHICH IS LAST I AM GOING TO APPEAR .I HAD ENQIRE WITH INSTITUE REGARDING THE P-II SYLLABUS AND BOOKS IT IS OUT OF STOCK ,SIR AS U SAID THAT WHEN TIME PASSES WE STUDIED THE OLD SYLLABUS AND NEW THINGS WHICH GET ADDED WE ARE NOT AWARE AND ALL MY GROUP WHO ARE WITH ME THEY SETTLED IN DIFFERENT LOCATION .I DONT HAVE FRIEND WITH WHOM CAN STUDY ,BUT STILL I WANT TO GET KNOWLEDGE AND PASS OUT. PLEASE GIVE ME THE INCOME TAX AMENDMENT AND LATEST UPDATE FOR P-II THNKING YOU IN ANTICIPATION, REGARDS PALLAVI
