I am a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary. 

I am attached to Amalgamations group of Chennai. I am also on the Board of some of their group companies, besides being a CFO & CS of Simpson and Company Ltd..

    Dear Mr. Aditya, 1)Life cover is not taxable. Only gratuity in excess of Rs.3.50 lacs is taxable.2) The estate of the deceased will pay the tax, the legal heir is the representative.

    Dear Sir Guide me plz: My employe is not providing me House rent allowance & conveyance allowance (Exempt Rs. 800) per month in my pay structure. Can I claim the benefit of HRA & conveyance allowance in my ITR.

    are relocation exp subject to FBT? because it is the nature of any previlage, service, facility or amenity whether by way of reimbursement or otherwise - it is subject to FBT at 100%(i.e.30% of the entire amount) or will it come under staff welfare?
