Sir, This query of mine is similar to a query you ave alerady answered regarding postponment of attempt due to a few days of delay in completion of articleship. (Query posted by mr.nikhil) My CA final first attempt is on may 2014. so as per ICAI i have to complete my 3 years of articleship by 31st of OCT 2014. But due to transfer, my 3 years is getting completed on 3rd november. After reading your post i asked my principal if he can issue a excess hours worked certificate, as i have close to 76 hours of excess work to my credit, which would prepon my completetion by 10 days which actually put in my completition of 3 years well within 31st october. My pricipal has accepted for the same. In the similar query that you had answered to, you seem to have given mr Nihil the instances of cases where Institute accepted a leter in similar cases. I humbly request you to help me with the same and give me examples of some similar cases so that i can cite those cases and plead my case with the Institute. Suppose i worked on Sunday and after that, i took a compensatory Leave for that Sunday on the day of Monday. Leave on Monday is actually the Sunday that i have availed. Will this compensatory leave will be calculated in actual leave taken.
