    thanks for the reply, I had mentioned that the opening balance for the year 08-09 was payable and the closing balance was receivable from the company. Secondly if i am asked to pay the deemend dividend for 07-08 shall I be liable for another deemend dividend tax for the year 2008-2009 as the amount payable in 0708 was cleared in 2008-2009. regards Director Shunty
