Sir, My client was received a notice U/s.143(2) from ITO ward 9 (1) Surat as on dated 15/09/2009.In notice our case is selected in CASS, but my client is residence in ahmedabad and our income tax return A.Y.2008-09 was submitted in ITO 9(1) Ahmedabad. I was given a reply to Surat and said that Surat was not our area judicial,than before two day ago my client was received a letter from ITO 9(1) ahmedabad notice subsection 1 under-section 142. Now reply and suggestion about that how can i reply to ITO 9 (1) ahmedabad.I was not received a notice U/s.143(2) from ITO 9(1) Ahmedabad. Can i challenge this notice from ahmedabad ITO ? Thanking You.
