    Can anybody kindly post the answer for consequences of fall in number of directors below 3 in public company.What will happen if the same condition prevails for more than one year.I know that any decisions if company would like to take it has to refer to members and decisions taken in board meeting is invalid.Apart from this is there any penal action is attracted?Pls suggest with case law if any.

    Provision for doubtful debts is Rs.1000 & debtors are Rs.90,000 at end of year, provision for doubtful debt 1% required, then the entry a) P & L A/c Dr 900 To provision for doubtful debts 900 b) Provision for doubtful debts 900 To P & C A/c 900 c) P & L A/c Dr 100 To RDD A/c 100 d) none of these i want to knw the answer and reason for the same??????

    Dear Sir, Please tell me whether theft of personal jewellary can be claimed as a deduction anywhere for a person who is having salary income, house property income and income from other sources. Jewellary is appearing in capital of assessee, so i think capital will get reduced, but what about deduction on account of loss, can we claim it as a capital loss??
