Hi!

I am Sanjay Gupta from "City of Joy - Kolkata". I have completed ICWA, M.Com, CS, DIM and currently pursuing MBA. Presently i am working for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Barrackpore Division as a Dy. Manager (Finance). Prior to this, for last 3 years i worked for "West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Ltd" as Officer On Special Duty and before that for 3.5 years i worked for "Jekay Group of Companies" as Manager (F & A).

I am a part of caclubindia Family to share whatever knowledge i have and also to enhance my own knowledge. We all learn something everyday, because education never ends be it in school, college, institutions or in Journey of Life.

I have started my preparations now and wanted to know about your inputs. The scanners are not yet available in market and subjects are new to me. MANAV says : Sec. 47 of Capital Gains
Can exemption be availed u/s. 47 in respect of Capital Gain if two proprietorship firms are converted in to pvt. ltd. co. and each proprietor will be given 50% voting power (50%+50%=100%) and other conditions are satisfied? And what about stamp duty on immovable properties transferred to pvt. ltd. co. in the above way? Can stamp duty be fully escaped in whole scheme?

If we are paying rent 6000/-pm to four persons (Joint Owner).Can we transfer whole Rs.24000/- to only one person account. In rent agreement does not show any point related to this. Presently we are transfering Rs. 24000/- pm to only one owner acccount & rent agreement with Four co-owners then whether we deduct TDS.
