Hi!

I am Sanjay Gupta from "City of Joy - Kolkata". I have completed ICWA, M.Com, CS, DIM and currently pursuing MBA. Presently i am working for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Barrackpore Division as a Dy. Manager (Finance). Prior to this, for last 3 years i worked for "West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Ltd" as Officer On Special Duty and before that for 3.5 years i worked for "Jekay Group of Companies" as Manager (F & A).

I am a part of caclubindia Family to share whatever knowledge i have and also to enhance my own knowledge. We all learn something everyday, because education never ends be it in school, college, institutions or in Journey of Life.

i have submitted correct tax challan to bank, but bank had mistake in AY , so the tax credit is showing for diffrent AY.What to do?

SIR, One of my frnd is in problem plz suggest. case:- he gave blank signed bond (non judicial stamp paper) paper to his employer (Rs20 x 5 nons. he completed his articleship after a long fighting. now he complete his articleship but his blank singed bond paper is still with his former employer. Sir now that former is denying to cancel the bond nor returning the papers to my friend. Sir i want your suggestions how to deal with the matter to keep my frnd safe side (he is tensed because of future mis use by former employer because his case wase already disputed before ICAI) Plz suggest & Help.

we are entering into contract of coastal shipping busines, we will charter the ship and will be moving coal cargo of indian company in coastal area hence request you to advise service tax will be applicable on which expense and income mentioned below. 1. freight income - we will be receiving from indian company to our dubai company account (shall we charges service tax in freight invoice to be raised for same and if yes what will be the percentage) 2.port expenses we will we paying - if any service tax payble on same 3.brokerage commission payable/recievable 4.charter hire payable to ship owners - shipowners may be indian or foreign registery. also freight tax if any payable to indian govt on recvd freight income ( freight recpt from indian comapny) or shall we obtain tax exepmtion under DTA clause as we are having tax residency certificate issued by DUBAI Govt( freight receipt will be in our dubai company account) Also please advise if any other taxes and duties applicable for same.
